Ibiza - Ari (der peruanische Yogi auf Ibiza)

Wir kennen Ari seit dem Sommer 2008, da haben wir ihn im Rahmen des Sommer-Workshops auf der Cala Yoga getroffen. Vorher schon wussten wir von ihm über eine Freundin von uns aus Benimoussa, bei der wir einige Wochen lang Urlaub gemacht hatten, Judith Thorak (eine Althippie-Frau aus Oberbayern). Wir trafen dann Ari noch öfter auf dem Rastrillo in San Jordi und haben einen Filmdreh vermittelt (den letzten) in der Cala Yoga zum Sonnenuntergang (machten zwei Freunde von uns, die auch den Film "A tale of two Hippies" gedreht haben. Ari gibt sein letztes Interview. Leider habe ich die Footage bis jetzt nicht bekommen. Ich würde dann einen kurzen Ausschnitt auf die Website stellen.
Ostern 2009 waren wir auf dem Rastrillo und haben von zwei Mädchen, die den Ari-typischen Schmuck verkauften, erfahren, dass er gestorben ist. Wir kannten ihn also nur kurz und haben uns dennoch von Anfang an sehr verbunden mit ihm gefühlt. Darum hänge ich auch immer wieder sein Bild in die Höhle. (Es verschwindet ab und zu dort) 

About Ari, the Ibiza-Yogi aus Peru

We did a summer workshop in Ibiza in August 2008. One day we went with our group to Cala Yoga in the morning for the "Kundalini-Meditation". There we met Ari for the first time, he sat in his cave and played on a flute made of bone, which was tuned to the chakras. Especially at the 6th Chakra (third eye) you could clearly feel the vibrations in the forehead. Previously we knew of him through a friend of ours from Benimoussa, where we had made a few weeks holiday, Judith Thorak (old hippie woman from Upper Bavaria). Ari had an avocado plantation and made jewelry, which he sold at various places in Ibiza. He was known on the island for its particularly healthy lifestyle. We then met Ari more often on the Rastrillo in San Jordi and made a film shoot possible (the last) in the Cala yoga at sunset (made by two friends of ours who also did the movie "A tale of two hippies" (Stefan Archetti and David Lee). Ari gave his last interview, talking about Yoga and spirituality and his philosophy. Unfortunately I did not get the promised footage until now. (then I would put a short section on my website). Easter 2009 we were on the Rastrillo in San Jordi and met two girls who were selling the typical Ari-jewelry. They told us that he has died. So we knew him only for a short time but we felt very connected with him from the beginning. Therefore I put the big photo into the cave.
